Graduate Design Curriculum Get an Inside Look

Graduate students in the Design Option have custom tailored curriculums based on their goals and level of experience. Class registration is determined by students in collaboration with advisors.

  • Each student in every discipline is required to take the following core classes each semester:
    • (at least) One Design class per semester
    • Production Preparation
    • Applied Internship
    • Design Forum
  • Each student in every discipline is required to take the following classes during their six semesters with us:
    • 2 semesters of Colloquium
    • 2 semesters of upper level critical thinking courses elsewhere in the University.
  • Each student in every discipline will take other courses from the list below each semester as determined in collaboration with their advisor.
