Theatre Communications Group will honor School of Drama alumnus and lighting designer Jules Fisher at their annual gala in November.
The dinner in New York brings attention to organizations and artists who have been positively impacted by the services provided by TCG, whose mission is “To strengthen, nurture and promote the professional not-for-profit American theatre.”
Fisher’s career has garnered nine Tony Awards since his graduation in 1960, several of which were awarded jointly with frequent collaborator and fellow alumnus Peggy Eisenhauer (BFA, 1983). Fisher was awarded an honorary doctorate from Carnegie Mellon University in 2013. He is a principal at Fisher Dachs Associates and Third Eye Entertainment Lighting.
