My Bio:

Alex Talbot is a lighting designer and member of the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama’s Class of 2020. His work and interests include concerts, theatre, and raves. Most recently, he served as the lighting designer for Carnegie Mellon’s 2020 production of Into the Woods and as Full Flood’s lighting assistant for the 62nd Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

As an artist and designer, Alex is passionate about merging music and lighting and loves creating visual landscapes to music. And when complex technology and programming issues arise, he enjoys teaching himself new skills while working through those issues.

Raised in the Boston area, Alex enjoys hiking and mountain biking in New Hampshire and Vermont. He is also an avid reader with an interest in politics and Russian history; in addition to his BFA he is minoring in Social and Political History.
