Claire began collaborating at the age of two, greeting neighbors with “Sit down and color.” Her people skills have since grown, but her spirit is much the same. Her highschool years wove together traditional studio art, theater and a passion to dress like no-one else did. The portfolio she made during that time got her into CMU and went on to win a national silver medal in the Scholastics Art and Writing competition along with six individual regional awards. She received her BFA at Carnegie Mellon University where she majored in Theatrical Costume Design, minored in Chinese Studies, and learned computer programming. Recently she has worked on three Pittsburgh based commercials. Which includes being the stylist for a Penn State commercial that shot in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and Philadelphia. The combination of commercial work and PA experience has opened a door to a new genre of costume design, which she is excited to explore. When the world starts to move again she will be moving to LA to be a costume intern with The Television Academy Foundation.
