My Bio:

Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Dylan has been involved in the arts since before he could read. Starting with the drums, his initial foray into art was through music. Then, at church, he began stepping and dancing with the church’s step team (in which he was the youngest at age 9). He began training in classical piano in the 3rd grade and went on to study at Bak Middle School of the Arts. Finding a new passion for Acting, he joined the Theatre department in 7th grade and continued his studies at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, all the while continuing to build his artistic vita through writing, choreography, and music arrangement and composition.

Dylan is passionate about the vastitude of blackness; telling stories with black bodies that aren’t usually told with black bodies. Using all forms of art, he hopes to aid in deconstructing the unconscious bias in America surrounding blackness while allowing space for black people to see themselves exist on the stage and screen, free from politicization through the white gaze. He is a huge Jazz/R&B/Gospel fan, an avid reader, and can cook a mean Ribeye. Job 22:28
