My Bio:

Los Angeles native, Georgia Mendes started studying classical voice at ten years old. After spending a summer at the prestigious Boston University Tanglewood Institute for classical voice in Lennox, MA, she realized she much preferred Sondheim and Webber to Mozart and Bach. But it was during her time at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, she made the decision to pursue musical theatre. That passion landed her at Carnegie Mellon University where she recently received the John Arthur Kennedy Award for excellence in acting. Georgia earned her AEA membership in 2017 performing at The Muny in The Unsinkable Molly Brown, directed by Kathleen Marshall. Apart from singing, dancing, and acting Georgia spends her time cooking, as a part time caregiver for a young woman with autism spectrum disorder, and cuddling with her cat, Fiona.
