I am an artist whose work spans many fields and forms, including video/projection design for performance, activism, education and new media art/technology. I think of art as a powerful epistemic and emotional tool for examining assumed realities. My work combines innovative technology, extensive research, and hope for alternate futures to invite audiences into a communal process of debriefing and re-learning. I grew up in North Carolina, where I received a BFA with honors in studio art from UNC-Chapel Hill. I have just completed my MFA in video and media design at Carnegie Mellon’s School of Drama!
