As someone from Burbank, CA might be so inclined, Natalie grew up with a fascination with storytelling. Her love for storytelling in animation, in theatre, and in games led her to pursue a BXA in Dramaturgy and Professional Writing with a Minor in Game Design at Carnegie Mellon University (say that three times fast!). She graduates in May 2020 with honors.
She is particularly drawn to telling interactive stories for and about diverse cultures and communities, and she focuses on narrative and player/audience experience in all of her projects – in theater, in video games, or the screen. She believes open collaboration is at the heart of a successful project, as is care for both the audience and the team involved.
When she’s not brainstorming Twine ideas or writing new play script coverages, you can find her watching SNL or movie breakdowns on YouTube.
