Nora Gair is a theatre and opera director committed to threading classic themes with radical new life for audiences today. After growing up in the Great North Woods of New Hampshire, Nora graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Directing from the John Wells Directing Program.
Recent work includes the world premiere of What \\Washed Ashore //Astray by Benjamin Benne, and Romeo and Juliet at the inaugural season of Shakespeare in the Woods in Vermont that dealt with real regional issues of homophobia and xenophobia.
