My Bio:

SooA Kim is a motion designer based in New York. She produces video content for stage and pre-visualization concept work for multimedia productions. She has a background in classical music and BFA from Parsons the New School for Design.

Through collaborative work, she is interested in bringing immersive experience within the sphere of arts and entertainment. Kim worked on productions with FragmentNine, Boston Lyric Opera, The Obie Awards, The Flea Theatre, and Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama. Recently, she has been selected as the featured emerging artist at Prague Quadrennial 2019 in Czech Republic. Her work has been selected internationally for eminent exhibitions including Hermitage Museum of Art in St. Petersburg, Russia; Düsseldorf Festival in Germany, Heritage Space in Hanoi, Vietnam; Toronto Centre for the Arts in Canada; and Industry City, Pier Sixty, Abrons Art Center, Sheila C. Johnson Design Center, The Kaye Playhouse and many more in New York.
