My Bio:

Ying Huo is an emerging artist and experience maker with a passion in lighting design and an interest in architecture. Her work hopes to create interactive experience that allows participants to reconnect with their own emotions and presence, as well as inspires people to engage with surrounding space and beings. She is currently pursuing her Lighting Design MFA at Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and holds a B.A. in Economics from Denison University.

In addition to her pursuits in lighting design, Ying has worked as production assistant on several private and corporate events in New York City and China. She has also worked and volunteered in local cultural organizations in Philadelphia and Copenhagen to help promote regional arts and culture.

When she is not in the theatre, you can easily find her in museums, farmers market or just wandering down the streets in cities.
