My Bio:

Anabel Shuckhart is a costume designer who was born and raised in Los Angeles where her passion for collaborative storytelling first started in her high school’s basement costume shop.  She will graduate from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Drama and a Minor in Social and Political Histories in May of 2021, where she has most recently worked as the costume designer on Hair, directed by Jason Sparks.

Throughout her time at Carnegie Mellon, Anabel has found the most passion in designing for theatre that pushes both those who are working on the production and members of the audience to expand the ways in which they take in the world with empathy.  As Anabel enters the professional world, she will make it a goal to make work that is process-driven and focuses on equity amongst storytellers, audiences, and characters alike.
