My Bio:

Born and raised in Austin, TX, Carolyn’s passion for the arts is solely inspired by her family and those who paved the way so that she may shine her light so bright. Named after her beautiful grandma Carol, Carolyn’s name means “beautiful song of joy” and those are the words that best describe who she is. Carolyn is forever grateful for her family and their endless love and support.

Carolyn is passionate about storytelling, writing, and creating anything that allows her to freely express her artistry in unique ways that honor those who came before her. She likes to find the beauty in the simple and natural things of life and enjoys celebrating/uplifting the people, especially the women of color, who have molded and shaped her into the woman she is today.

When not working on her craft, Carolyn finds joy in art, music, and photography. Art will always be Carolyn’s first love which inspires her to see the world from diverse perspectives. Music is a huge part of Carolyn’s life as well, whether it’s making Spotify playlists, creating music/singing with her sisters, or jamming to her favorite songs on repeat. For as long as she can remember, she’s always been drawn to photography and capturing timeless memories and moments that are beyond words. She also loves brunch, painting, writing poetry, and witnessing breathtaking Texas sunrises on morning walks with her mom and two dogs.
