My Bio:

Chase earned his BA in Theatre from Smith College in 2014 and has since held many roles in the industry.  After a two year tour with the dance company Pilobolus, Chase freelanced as a Technical Director, carpenter and designer. Freelancing as a TD brought Chase to CMU to pursue an MFA.

During his time at CMU, Chase served as the Job Lead for three productions in three different venues, for which he sculpted a wall made of plastic sheeting, rigged a 150 year old telephone pole, and built walls that were nearly too tall to fit in the scene shop. He discovered a love for technical design and in-venue work, which lead to his roles as Project Engineer and Venue Operations Manager in his final year.

In the future, Chase hopes to find a position where he can serve his community while using his technical expertise. In Chase’s spare time, he loves to cook, read, and monkey around with his cat, Jack.
