My Bio:

Emma Patterson is a Technical Director from the Class of 2021 that focuses in project management, event management, and education.

Emma grew up in Monterey, California at a small school with a wonderful theatre program. Through her career at Carnegie Mellon University, she filled the roles of Playground XVIII Festival Manager (2020), Production Manager (What \\ Washed Ashore // Astray, 2019), Job Lead (Turn of the Screw 2020), Project Manager (Carnegie Scenic, 2020-2021), and Stage Manager (Compensation, 2019).

Additionally, she interned in the Production Management Department at Williamstown Theatre Festival, she was a Stage and Production Management Apprentice at The Cape Playhouse. Before COVID-19, she was hired to be the Production Manager of The Cape Playhouse, but, under the circumstances, the season was postponed until 2021. 

Following her graduation, Emma is pursuing a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as continuing her work in theatrical management. Her strong leadership and adaptive skills are well applied to her passions for both theatre and education.
