My Bio:

Essence Stiggers is an American actress, singer and dancer born and raised in the heart of the Twin Cities. She is proud to have worked at a plethora of Minneapolis’ most well known professional and community theatres such as The Children’s Theatre Company, Mixed Blood Theatre, Penumbra Theatre, The Playwrights’ Center, The Illusion Theatre, The Lehr Theatre and Phoenix Theatre to name a few. Aside from the performing arts, Essence enjoys cooking, reading and athletics of all sorts. Essence was a proud recipient of a full scholarship to Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in addition to The Thomas Auclair Acting Award her sophomore year. Essence has graduated from Carnegie with a preparedness and a tenacity unlike many. She is excited to continue her professional career in acting; she thanks her mentors and professors who have been so gracious to have guided her along the way as well as her parents who are her biggest cheerleaders.
