Joss Green

Video and Media Designer
Class of 2021
(They/Them)

My Bio:

Joss has wanted to tell stories since they were a plucky 3rd grader with pigtails.  While the pigtails may be gone, their love for storytelling persists from performance poetry to media design and, their favorite, video editing.

At Carnegie Mellon, Joss has continued to explore their fondness for narrative both through their major in Video and Media Design and their minor in Creative Writing.  They were able to attend USITT to present a lighting, sound, and media collaboration in 2019 and were chosen as a recipient of both the LDI Pat McKay Scholarship and the Gateway Mentorship with USITT in 2020. They discovered a passion for video editing through a position in the Carnegie Mellon Architecture Department, working on their yearly lecture series and the Watson Festival in 2019.

Joss is from Chicago and hopes to spend their life helping craft meaningful stories that will invite new faces into film and television.
