My Bio:

KT Pyzowski is a Technical Director in the class of 2021 with a strong passion for making things. Her infectious enthusiasm for the work she does, confidence leading a crew, and ability to quickly adapt set her apart from her colleagues. KT is a very involved member of the Carnegie Scenic team working as a carpenter, fly operator, estimator, tech designer, and job lead. She strives to create an inclusive and supportive environment for womxn like herself and others often excluded from shop spaces.

As the Job Lead on Compensation in the Fall 2019, KT’s organization and preparedness led her to complete the scenery build a day early, finish install incredibly efficiently, and create a welcome and safe working environment for crew members. She has also worked as a props intern at The Public Theater, a prop shop assistant at CMU, and as a scenic painting assistant for the CMU paint shop. Outside of her work, KT enjoys plants and puppets.

KT has always been partial to working with live events and touring, but has recently become interested in film/TV as well as museum, nature center, and outdoor exhibits and conservation. KT is currently working as a Trail Crew Foreman at Philmont Scout Ranch and is not easily reachable in the backcountry.
