Mary Emily Landers

Stage and Production Management
Class of 2021
(She/Her)

My Bio:

Mary Emily is an aspiring manager of all things creative. While holding a particular interest in the music or film industry, she is excited to see where any upcoming opportunities may take her.

While at Carnegie Mellon, Mary Emily has had the opportunity to production manage New Works (comprised of 4 shows) and Men On Boats, as well as stage manage and assist on 5 other productions, but her work has also extended outside of the university setting. The Atlanta native has worked in general production capacities at various theatres around the area, including Atlanta Shakespeare Tavern and Atlanta Lyric Theatre. Prior to the pandemic, Mary Emily was immersed in the opera world, where she worked at The Glimmerglass Festival (Cooperstown, NY) as the production administration intern and PROTOTYPE (New York, NY) as a producing intern. These experiences solidified her love for music and artistic creation in all different capacities.

At the end of the day, if you can’t find her working, she is probably out exploring in nature or trying to perfect one of the many hobbies she has picked up in quarantine.
