My Bio:

Tracy Hoida is a queer nonbinary oddity originally hailing from the Midwest dairyland, but now is set loose upon the world. They are a playwright, screenwriter, and theatrical artist currently pursuing their MFA in Dramatic Writing from Carnegie Mellon University. They received a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 2011. Their screenplay THE SPACE ABOVE US won a grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation in 2020, and their plays LARRY 13:2, THE ORIGIN OF KICK JAB GIRL, and KILL YOU WITH MY LOVE were produced at the 2017, 2018, and 2019 Cincinnati Fringe Festivals by jury selection, respectively. Other honors include an invitation to participate in the National Playwriting Program at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in 2020 and their fringe festival production of LARRY 13:2 being named one of the Most Memorable Moments On Stage by the Cincinnati Enquirer in 2017.
