The School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University is a member of the consortium of conservatory theatre training programs. Auditions or interview/portfolio reviews are required for students applying to Acting/Music Theater, Design, the John Wells Directing Program, or Production Technology and Management.

School of Drama Tours

 

The School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University offers in-depth tours of the Purnell Center for the Arts for students and their families interested in learning more about the university and school.

 

Tours are only offered Monday through Friday starting at 12:00 pm.  No weekend tours are available. The tours are by appointment only and are conducted by current School of Drama students under the advisement of School of Drama staff members. *Only one ticket registration needed per family.*

 

Tours typically last 45-60 minutes and they start in the Purnell Center lobby, second level, at the top of the main staircase.

*Note: There will be no tours the week of March 6 due to Spring Break.*
