Originally conceived at Carnegie Mellon University in 1970 by then-student John-Michael Tebelak, and later completed with music by CMU graduate Stephen Schwartz, Godspell has since become a cultural phenomenon. With its message of community and its joyful musical score, Godspell returns to CMU under the direction of Professor Tomé Cousin.
