Bio:

Bridget Doherty is an interdisciplinary entertainment manager, technician, and artist hailing from Orlando, FL. She is part of the inaugural Production Technology class at CMU and is proud to have been a part of the range of opportunities afforded by the new concentration; she will also graduate with minors in Physical Computing & Sonic Arts. 

Bridget believes in gracious collaboration, finding joy in the process, systems theory, and in engaging in constant curiosity and generosity with the world around us. With a primary background in lighting and sound system engineering & management, Bridget is an effective and efficient technician capable of working with a wide range of equipment and control systems at multiple scales of production, from black boxes to stadiums.

Recent work includes Controls Integration at TAIT (freelance & intern) working primarily with performer flight automation systems, Eos programming at the Boston Lyric Opera, and Technical Supervision for CMU’s Playground XX. 

In the free time that she fiercely protects, Bridget is an avid knitter & fiber artist, and a percussionist in CMU’s All University Orchestra.
