(she/they)

Bio:

Clio is a MFA Costume Production candidate originating from Arizona with a BFA in Costume Design from Savannah College of Art and Design.

Clio is passionate about complex pattern manipulation, new fabrication techniques, and information accessibility. They spent their time at CMU tackling projects such as the larger than life stork puppet from Babel, teaching the freshmen how to sew, and G’s costume from Passage.

Going forward when they imagine themself working in the industry, they would like to be the ‘go to person’ for big builds with unconventional materials and non-standard shapes. Their current monograph is centered around unconventional and non-seamable materials such as vinyls, leathers, latex, and silicone. This will culminate in a fully realized multi piece costume of various materials and an instructional textbook for specific techniques for utilizing each material.
