Bio:

Danielle Bergman became enamored with the art of stage management as a freshman in high school. After her internship at the Alliance Theatre on Cinderella and Fella, Danielle knew stage management was her path. Since then, Danielle has graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Stage Management through the Independent Major Program. At IU, Danielle was the recipient of the 2021 Individualized Major Program Outstanding Senior Project Award for her blog: Behind the Headset, as well as the 2019 Helen Sarah Walker Scholarship in Stage Management. Danielle was a part of 11 stage management teams at IU. She is graduating with an MFA in Stage and Production Management at Carnegie Mellon University. At CMU, Danielle has further developed her management abilities by being a house manager and a TA for courses such as Technical Management and Production Personnel Management, along with seven production assignments in stage and production management roles. Professional stage management credits include being a PA on Trading Places at the Alliance Theatre and a stage manager for the Parallel 45 Theatre Festival. At P45 she was the SM for the Benefete and Reading Series while ASMing The Sound of Music and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. In Pittsburgh, Danielle was the PSM for People of Pittsburgh: The Alchemist of Sharpsburg with RealTime Arts and ASM on Amahl & the Night Visitors at Resonance Works. Professional Production Management Credits include Maine State Music Theatre’s 2023 Summer Season and IU Summer Theatre of 2019.

Danielle would like to thank her mentors Liz Campell Mills, Trish Hausmann, Laura Judson, Thom Quintas, Tina Shackleford, Miso Wei, David Holcomb, and Sayantee Sahoo for their guidance. She would also like to thank her family, partner, and friends for supporting her on this journey.
