Bio:

Evan began his theatre education at Columbia College Chicago where he received a BA in Theatre Design with a concentration in Scenic Design. After graduating he became a recurring designer at companies like Piven, ChiArts, Pride Arts and Big Noise, and became a company member with Refuge Theater Project. He designed the Chicago premieres of Hands on a Hardbody with Refuge and Casa Valentina with Pride Films and Plays, and the world premieres of May the Road Rise Up at The Factory Theater, Plainclothes at Broken Nose Theatre and Shadows of Birds with Glass Apple. He also designed for Chicago institutions such as Strawdog Theatre Company and the Black Ensemble Theater. Today he is continuing his education at Carnegie Mellon University where he is expected to receive an MFA in Scenic Design in 2023.
