Bio:

Jonah Carleton is a New York based scenic designer and artist. Throughout his time at Carnegie Mellon, Jonah has nurtured his love for creating unique worlds onstage. 

For as long as he can remember, Jonah has been drawn to unfamiliar mediums and found objects. He takes pride in exploring challenging materials, unlocking their unexpected properties, and using them to answer questions in his design. 

Jonah is drawn to scenic design because it weaves this tactile fascination with his love for collaboration and creative problem solving.

In addition to his theatrical pursuits Jonah also enjoys exploring other fine arts disciplines such as ceramics, sculpture, and drawing.
