Costume Designer
Class of 2023
(she/they)

Bio:

Juno Jacobs is a costume designer and artisan based out of Pittsburgh PA and New Hampshire. Currently, she is working toward a BFA at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama with a costume design concentration, graduating in spring of 2023. In her time at CMU Drama, she has participated in productions as both a costume designer and costume craftsperson, as well as designing for the student theater organization Scotch’n’Soda and Pittsburgh CLO.

As an artist, Juno emphasizes dramaturgical work and an intersectional approach to design. She has found a fondness for designing shows that break traditions of gender in both casting and clothing, and enjoys the opportunity to engage in these conversations of identity with directors, other designers, and actors. They are also passionate about anti-racist theater practices and arts education.

Juno finds joy and artistic inspiration in queer media, video games, and “just browsing” at vintage stores.
