Noelle Cremer

Costume Production
Class of 2023
(they/them)

Bio:

Noelle Cremer is a costume artisan from Washington DC, and third-year MFA candidate in Costume Production at Carnegie Mellon University. Noelle first became interested in costume when they attended their first comic convention in 2011, where they were introduced to the world of cosplay. They began making their own costumes shortly thereafter. That hobby turned into a lifelong passion for the art of garment-making and crafts in all forms. Their particular interests include pattern development, millinery, and incorporating digital technologies into costuming.

Noelle’s recent work includes serving as crafts artisan for Orion and the Goatman and Adult Things, millinery for As You Like It, and draping for Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, all at Carnegie Mellon University. They have also completed client-commissioned bridal work, and this summer will join the Santa Fe Opera’s costume studio as a first hand.
