Oona Natesan

Costume Design
Class of 2021
(She/Her)

My Bio:

I am a multidisciplinary designer with experience in costume, and digital design. I love being able to adapt to what the situation has to offer, using clothes as a platform to present upon. I am currently based out of Pittsburgh, and have a Master’s from Carnegie Mellon, School of Drama in Costume Design. I think that costume design is visual storytelling in a way that elevates the character, that uses a lot of critical thinking to direct the story.

Prior to my move to the East coast, I was based in India where I worked as an Assistant designer to Mr. Manish Malhotra, the eclectic designer associated with international couture and high street fashion and the Mumbai film industry, popularly called Bollywood.

I look forward to igniting my passions and to a sense of reflection through my work.
